WOW! This place is incredible. The sweeping views of Arrifana beach and the ocean when you walk in the front door are breathtaking. You can sit on the patio and watch the scenery all day! The house is bright, spacious and very clean. It is well-equipped with a dishwasher, laundry, wifi, coffee and sugar - everything we needed. This was our first time in southern Portugal, and we found this home to be a perfect base for exploring - close to wonderful restaurants (we particularly enjoyed Restaurant O Sargo), great hiking trails, and a short walk down to the beach. Hugo was very friendly when he met us at check-in and gave us many great tips on the best beaches, restaurants and typical Portuguese dishes to order. We took a boat tour with Eugenio at Arrifana Boat Tours and would highly recommend that, as well! Arrifana is a special place, and Casa Vigia is an amazing home to experience it. We hope to be back!
